1. Who we are

YieldIQ is operated by Hinstech (“Hinstech”), based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Hinstech is the data controller for personal information processed through YieldIQ. Contact: hello@yieldiqproperty.com.au.

2. Local-first by design

Your property analyses, borrower profiles, scenarios and preferences are stored in your browser on your device (in localStorage). We do not collect or transmit this property data to our servers.

3. Categories of personal data we collect

  • Account data (if you create an account): email address, sign-in identifiers.
  • Support correspondence: anything you email us.
  • Basic telemetry: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, page accessed, timestamp) for security and reliability.
  • Billing data: collected directly by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) — we receive a record of which plan you bought, not your card details.

4. How we use it

  • To provide and operate the service (contract performance).
  • To secure the service and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
  • To respond to your support requests (legitimate interests).
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting).

5. Sharing

  • Paddle — Merchant of Record for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Hosting and authentication providers — to run the service.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting, where reasonably necessary.
  • Authorities — where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as we’re legally required (typically up to 7 years for Australian tax records). Local property analyses live on your device and you can delete them at any time from Settings → Data.

7. Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing hello@yieldiqproperty.com.au. If you’re in Australia you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). UK/EEA users have the additional GDPR rights of restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, and may complain to a supervisory authority.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege principles.

9. Cookies

YieldIQ uses essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and store your local property analyses. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
